Initial thoughts are how can the performer translate this 'body weather' on stage in dialogue with the design-although I will clarify this further and make it more relevant.
'Body weather' is a term coined by Dr Karla Shacklock (A butoh and 'beyond' practitioner). so it is an enquiry about authenticity in performance and how can you (if indeed you can) translate this emotional landscape.
My provocation will be speaking. Speaking about another journey, another geography. Speaking as a Scenography, as atmosphere, as landscape. Speaking as a palimpsest that can layer one journey over another, one politics with another. Speaking that divides and unites, that marks deference and hierarchies, that allows gaps, abstractions, that shapes a shared space of otherness.
Entropy of Shared Space
An architect and a performer explore the qualities of Space Shared among the Performance and its "Scenery" [the audience and surroundings].
Our provocation is about Sensing the Atmospheres that can be evoked by a Performance in a public space.
Which is the "temperature" among the audience when a proposed Narration is developed anew within a context or a Scenery is set up within an amorphous "framework".
What happens when the Accidental occurs as the Unexpected which gives force to the Entropy of a system.
And even more we want to provoke the Sensing of Atmospheres when these Architectures + Narrations _ the Performance in its ALL stages of Βecoming is represented through Media in different Moments and different Spaces
